Purpose
To provide a clear, professional futsal development pathway from U10 all the way to FCS Men's and Women's leagues for both boys and girls.
League format
6 divisions (U10, U12, U14, U16 — Boys & Girls). Each division has 4–6 teams playing a home-and-away schedule.
Pathway
Direct ladder into Lansing City's FCS Men's and Women's programs — same courts, same laws of the game, one club.
Standards
What makes FCS Futures different?
Direct pathway to the FCS Men's and Women's teams
Mandated full-size FIFA courts (no tiny courts)
Stopped-clock games matching official FIFA futsal timing and format
These standards create a much higher-quality experience and better player development than hybrid gym formats.

The Pathway
They see where it goes
Senior players who sign, smile, and stay — proof that City youth share the same house as the first teams.
The Pathway
One club. A life on the floor.
Most clubs split kids programs from the real team. We don’t. Every rung lives under the Lansing City crest, on the same FIFA floor — so parents always know what “up” looks like.
- 01
FCS Futures
U10–U16 · boys & girls
Tryouts Sep 19 · Oct 3 · Oct 24. Official FCS youth league — full FIFA courts, stopped clock, direct ladder to City first teams.
- 02
Juniors
U6–U10 · boys & girls
First touches, drop-in friendly. The clubhouse starts here — no long-term commitment required.
- 03
FCS Men & Women
Senior indoor
Highest level of futsal under the City crest — Arena nights, national network.
- 04
USL2 & UWS
Outdoor summer
When the floor gives way to grass — men's USL League Two and United Women's Soccer.
- 05
Club for life
Fans · families · alumni
Coaches, parents, open play, pickleball, rentals — City is home long after the player card expires.
One club identity
Same crest, same Arena, same language of work rate — whether U8 drop-in or FCS finals night.
Clear next step
Juniors → FCS Futures → senior FCS / outdoor. Parents always know what “up” looks like.
Belong for life
When the boots hang up, the house stays open — fans, families, open play, coaching, and community.
The Pathway
After Futures — still City
The pathway does not end at U16. Lansing City is structured so the next chapters stay under the same crest: senior indoor FCS, outdoor USL2 and UWS, then life around the club as a fan, family member, coach, or open-play regular.
