Lansing City FCS

Grouped the way a 3-1 plays — keeper, fixos, alas, pivots. Academy is one card under the rest — under-18 Lansing City youth, eligible for this FCS season, off the opening floor.

Goalkeepers

GK · 4

#1GoalkeeperEthan CastanedaThe #1. Last winter he made 141 saves across ten FCS nights and refused to let games get away. Shot-stopper first, organizer second — the voice the back line plays to.

#0GoalkeeperEmerson MenaSecond keeper in the rotation — a real pair of gloves so City is not a one-man last line. Comfortable with the ball at his feet when the press is on.

GoalkeeperJosh PostumaGoalkeeper.

GoalkeeperTucker BrownGoalkeeper.

Fixos

In front of the keeper · 5

#18FixoJhonnier TorresDefensive midfielder on a futsal court. Also wore Lansing City in USL League Two, so the outdoor-to-indoor jump is already in his legs. Wins it, plays simple, starts the next attack.

#28FixoLeonce NdayisabaLansing native — Everett High, GLCC, then the first team. Grew up in this building. Fixo who knows every bounce of the Arena floor.

FixoElliot WangFixo.

FixoJacob Sanchez-PuentesFixo.

Alas

Wingers · the wide gear · 14

#6AlaJohan FierroNew ala for the 2026/27 wave. Wide runner signed to give the first team another gear when the floor opens.

#7AlaElias SaldivarYoung ala who already crossed to the outdoor side — Lansing City USL League Two. Same crest, different surface. First-team minutes indoor are the next rung.

#9AlaBrandon GomezAla added to the wide rotation. First-team minutes this winter: stretch the floor, press the first pass, finish the cutback.

#9AlaBrian GomezAla.

#10AlaAli AhmadNine goals in six FCS appearances last winter. Also a Lansing City USL League Two winger — indoor and outdoor in the same year. Quick release, lives in the half-spaces.

#11AlaJack FisherLast season’s scoring punch — 16 in nine FCS games — and a Lansing City USL League Two midfielder on the grass. Direct, late into the box, hard to track on the weak side.

#15AlaLuciano CernudaAla.

#81AlaJeremy KlepalU.S. Futsal National Team winger. The 2019–21 cycle — CONCACAF qualifier nights, a goal in the semi that went to penalties, then Lithuania at the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Still the #81 shirt on FCS nights, still the same first step.

AlaKevin ArzuagaNew City ala. Prior Futsal Champions Series minutes with another club before joining the men's squad. Also coaches Lansing City U16 Boys.

AlaJaden CantuAla.

AlaJaret Fortuna-GilAla.

AlaJanzel RodriguezAla.

AlaDenny BarroseAla.

Pivots

The reference up top · 6

#3PivotDavid SaltsmanThe middle of Klepal–Saltsman–Crispain. Also played for Lansing City in USL League Two. Holds the ball when the press arrives and finds the third man.

#14PivotTresor CrispainThe third name in the sequences City fans already know. Pivot who arrives late and finishes the move someone else started.

#19PivotJonah Timm-BlowA Timm-Blow in the first team. Pivot built for the big court and the stopped clock — physical, first to the second ball.

#20PivotSamy OmarNew pivot for the 3-1. Signed to occupy the last defender and give the alas a body to play into.

#21PivotMaxwell KuehneQuiet organizer who now plays higher. Sees the next pass before the first one lands. The glue between fixo and the last line of attack.

#27PivotAlessandro BlancoCreator first — six assists in five games last season. A pivot who would rather play the last pass than take the shot, until he doesn’t.

Injured reserve

On the roster · not available · 1

#17Injured reserveAlec GnassTarget pivot. Eight goals in seven last season. Back-to-goal, finishes with either foot, the reference the alas play into. Injured reserve for the FCS season.

Academy

Under 18 · eligible for FCS · off the floor · 3

#25Academy · FixoAnthony WetzelFixo who treats the middle of the floor like a job: first contact, first pass. Quiet engine. The kind of player coaches trust when the game gets messy. Lansing City youth academy. Under 18 and eligible for the FCS season.

#4Academy · AlaCharlie NunezYoung, direct, already in the first-team picture from last winter into this one. Plays as if the next touch has to hurt the other team. Lansing City youth academy. Under 18 and eligible for the FCS season.

#26Academy · AlaColter ReesAcademy-to-first-team pathway made visible. Still a kid to some of the locker room — already a senior shirt. The point of the club, in one player. Lansing City youth academy. Under 18 and eligible for the FCS season.
