Arena & assumption of risk
Lansing City Arena is a working sports floor. Futsal, volleyball, pickleball, basketball, and the training boxes share one building. These terms apply to rentals, open play, memberships, spectators, and anyone who steps on the court.
Effective August 14, 2026
Bookings and configurations
The main court can be used as one full futsal court, or divided (volleyball, pickleball, basketball) as published on the booking calendar. A full futsal set-up occupies the entire main floor — it cannot be combined with other sports on that floor at the same time.
The Big Box, Small Box, and other rooms are booked separately from the main court.
A request (web, phone, or Voice AI) is not a hold until Club Operations confirms it. We may decline or move a request when it conflicts with club programming, a prior rental, or a configuration that does not fit.
Rates, payment, and cancellation
Posted rates and membership prices are the starting point; confirmed quotes control. Payment is due as stated at checkout or on the invoice. Stripe processes card payments.
Cancellations and weather: contact the club as soon as you know. Late cancels or no-shows may be charged. Club events and league matches take priority if a conflict is discovered; we will offer a reschedule or refund of unused prepaid time when we have to move you.
Assumption of risk
Futsal, soccer, volleyball, pickleball, basketball, and training in the boxes are physical. Surfaces are hard. Play involves contact, balls, walls, and other people. You understand that participation and spectating include a risk of injury, including serious injury.
You assume those inherent risks for yourself and, if you book or register for a minor, you assume them on behalf of that minor to the fullest extent Michigan law allows.
Lansing City, its owners, coaches, staff, volunteers, and affiliates are not responsible for injuries or property loss arising from ordinary play, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Health and conduct in the building
Do not play if you have an injury or illness that makes it unsafe. Tell staff about a medical emergency immediately. We are not a medical provider.
Indoor shoes only on the main floor. No food or open drink on the court. Respect dividers, other rentals, and posted house rules. You are responsible for your group, including children not on the floor.
Facility and equipment
Leave the court as you found it. You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear caused by your group. Do not adjust goals, curtains, or nets in a way that damages the building. Report broken glass, wet spots, or unsafe equipment before you play.
Spectators and families
Matchdays and rentals are family spaces. Supervise children off the court. Photography is part of club life; see the Privacy Policy for how we use images.
