Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lansing City (“we,” “us,” the club) handles information when you use lansingcityfutsal.com, Lansing City Arena bookings, youth and tryout forms, tickets, email or text alerts, the Voice AI line, and Club Operations.

Effective August 20, 2026

Who we are

Lansing City is a multi-team club based at Lansing City Arena, 904 Elmwood Rd, Lansing, MI 48917. We operate FCS Men’s and Women’s futsal, USL League Two and United Women’s Soccer sides, youth / FCS Futures programming, pickleball and community court use, and this website.

Privacy questions or data requests: hello@lansingcityfutsal.com or (517) 677-4530. Human staff may take longer to reach than the Voice AI line.

Information we collect

We collect what you give us and what we need to run the club:

  • Identity and contact — name, email, phone, parent/guardian name for youth.
  • Player details — birth year or date of birth, gender, position, last club, and optional ID or player-pass uploads for registration.
  • Bookings — requested date, time, sport, court configuration (futsal, volleyball, pickleball, basketball, Big Box, The Box), and notes.
  • Payments — processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Operations accounts — login email for staff, coaches, and operators.
  • Voice AI calls — the (517) 399-2028 agent may collect the same booking and contact details a human would. Those requests go to Club Operations for approval and are not auto-confirmed.
  • Staff notification settings — names, emails, and phones of club staff who choose to receive booking and form alerts.
  • Interest and Axios forms — program interest, partnership inquiries, and related messages.
  • Technical data — cookies or local storage needed to keep you signed in, remember a first-visit tour, and keep the site working. See the Cookie policy.
  • Site traffic (anonymous) — a random visitor ID in your browser, the pages you open, how long a visit lasts, device size (phone / tablet / desktop), referring website, and a coarse country if the host provides it. We do not store IP addresses, names, emails, or a full browser fingerprint for this.

How we use it

We use information to:

  • Register players, run tryouts, and communicate about teams, training, and matchdays.
  • Take, review, and confirm arena bookings and memberships.
  • Process payments and send receipts.
  • Operate Club Operations (schedules, staff, forms inbox, media studio, staff alerts).
  • Respond to Voice AI and phone inquiries.
  • Send service messages (booking status, schedule changes) and, if you opt in, club news.
  • Show public club content (rosters, photos, scores) that you or a parent have allowed us to publish.
  • Improve the site, keep it secure, and meet league, tax, and legal duties.
  • See which public pages people visit and how long they stay — so we can run the club site. Those counts are anonymous.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only when needed to run the club:

  • Service providers — Stripe (payments), hosting (including Vercel), database hosting, email, and Elfsight (Instagram embeds on some pages).
  • Leagues and sanctioning bodies — FCS, USL League Two, United Women’s Soccer, and related competition platforms when registration or eligibility requires it.
  • Voice / AI — the club Voice AI agent answers questions and drafts booking requests; staff review every booking.
  • Staff you designate — Club Operations notification settings send booking and form alerts to the emails and phones on that list.
  • Legal and safety — if required by law, or to protect players, staff, guests, or the Arena.

Youth, parents, and COPPA

FCS Futures, Juniors, and other youth programs include children under 13. A parent or legal guardian must submit registration and tryout forms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 except through a parent or guardian.

We collect date of birth so we can place a player in the right age group. File uploads (birth certificate, photo ID, or player pass) are optional at first submit and may be required before a player is cleared.

Parents may review, correct, or request deletion of a child’s information by emailing hello@lansingcityfutsal.com. We will delete it where we reasonably can, except records we must keep for league, safety, or tax reasons.

Photos, video, and media

Games, training, and events at Lansing City Arena and on the road are photographed and filmed for the club site, social channels, FCS Live, print, and in-arena screens.

By attending or participating, you understand you may appear in that coverage. Parents who need a specific youth photo taken down can email hello@lansingcityfutsal.com. Roster portraits are published with the team pages.

Your choices and U.S. privacy rights

Email hello@lansingcityfutsal.com to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you or your child, or to opt out of non-essential club email and texts. Ops users can update their own account details after signing in.

Depending on where you live (including if California or similar state law applies to you), you may also have the right to know what we collect, request a copy, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email hello@lansingcityfutsal.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify who you are. An authorized agent may submit a request if you provide signed permission.

How long we keep it

Registration, booking, and payment records are kept as long as needed to run the season, meet league and tax rules, and handle disputes — typically the current season plus a limited archive. Voice booking notes and form inbox entries stay until staff clear them and any related hold is closed. You can ask us to delete or correct your information; we may retain a limited record when the law or a live booking requires it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (access-controlled Club Operations, HTTPS, payment handled by Stripe). No website is perfectly secure. Do not send sensitive medical or payment details by unsecured email if a form or Stripe checkout is available.

Where data lives

The club is in Michigan. Hosting and processors may store information on servers in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed here under this policy.

Updates

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. Last updated August 20, 2026.
