City Smacks Mitwest but Falls to a Tie Against Futsal Indy

City Has a quiet first half but comes roaring to life in the second to beat Mitwest on Friday night
City's Jeremy Klepal scored five goals to tally 14 in only three games for Lansing City in the Futsal Champions series, as City took off in the second half pouring in goals. Jeffrey Victoria had his first ever hat trick for Lansing City scoring 4 goals now in three games for City. City dominated the second half barely allowing any goal scoring opportunites and creating numerous chances. The win brought city to 3-0 in the first three games of FCS play.
City came away with a tie in a drama filled slugfest at the Lansing City arena vs Futsal Indy on Saturday night. Countless fouls, delayed play, yellow cards, red cards, taunting and trash talk turned what could have been beautiful game into something quickly to forget. 20+ missed chances in front of goal proved to be city's downfall as undisciplined behaivor seemed to plague them from the start. indy made it all the worse scoring key goals at the start of the second half to put the pressure on the Lansing City Side. It would come down to the last fourty seconds as futsal indy slugged one in from distance while flying the goalie. It was a poor defensive effort against the 5th attacker that cost city the game.
City Will return to play WSG at 6:30 PM on Saturday, December 4th at the Lansing City arena. a win would guarantee a first seed spot in the FCS playoffs.
