Mendez Brothers Combine for 5 goals

The Mendez brothers combined for 5 goals with three from Alexis and two from Aldony. Alexis proved to be the goal scorer he is known to be, by putting away every chance that came his way. Aldony shined in the Pivot spot for City. His strength in  holding up the ball opened up the court for the other City players.

Brilliant Goalkeeping and Mastery of the ball

City's Danny Buegar, shined in the winter opener. His athleticism and quick reflexes held off the ABK attack. Buegar's highlight moment of the game was his thunderous PK stop that really sunk any hope of a ABK comeback.  Along with Buegar's brilliance, City showed exceptional movement of the ball and creativity. Jared Wilson Santos was a stout defender as always and slammed in two goals for City as well! Darus Ward came off the bench to get two goals of his own and added an attacking flair that elevated the City team.  Jeremy Klepal worked his "magic" across the court, finishing the game off with "full court" dribble/pass combination with Aldony Mendez that ended with Klepal simply walking the ball into the net. A highlight moment for sure!
