City Crushes Columbus 23-2 in Last Regular Season Game

Total Domination

Coming off a truly disappointing loss to Futsal Indy that ended the playoff bid that City had, City absolutely demolished Columbus scoring 23 goals and only allowing 2. Maybe it was all that pent up frustration from missing out on the playoffs or maybe it was the fatigue of the season wearing out on Columbus, but what we do know is that the game was a total annihilation. City's Jeremy Klepal scored 10 goals on his own with Jared Klepal slotting in four and Dylan lack another 3. It only took ten seconds for Jeremy to smash one past the Columbus goalie at the start of the game. After that one it was just a complete knockout from there on out. One goal about every two minutes by City. The crazy part was? It could have been more. Going into halftime it looked like a 30 or 35 was going to be put up on the board. Everything was going in for City and absolutely nothing was going right for Columbus. What a way to finish the season...
